Columbus Gold Corporation Grants Options

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. June 16, 2011. Columbus Gold Corporation(CGT: TSX-V) (the “Company”) announces that it has granted incentive stock options to certain of its officers, directors, consultants, employees, and service providers, to purchase up to an aggregate of 1,556,500 common shares exercisable on or before June 15, 2016 at a price of $0.78 per share. Of the foregoing options, 225,000 will vest on December 15, 2011; 100,000 will vest on June 15, 2012; and 100,000 will vest on June 15, 2013.
