Columbus Gold Corporation (CGT: TSX-V) (“Columbus Gold”) is pleased to announce that it has SEDAR filed a National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report prepared by the Perth Australia office of independent consultant Coffey Mining Pty Ltd. The report relates to the updated resource estimate on Columbus Gold’s Montagne d’Or gold deposit, Paul Isnard Project, French Guiana. Utilizing a cut-off grade of 0.4 g/t gold, the estimate yields 140.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 1 g/t gold for a total of 4.31 million contained Inferred ounces of gold. 

SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. has reviewed the procedures and results of the current updated resource estimate prepared by Coffey and confirms that its previous concerns with the methodologies used in Coffey’s prior estimate of December 2012, have been addressed within the current resource estimation and SRK supports the results.
